A Whole New World...

Kellen is on the go. He has been crawling all over the house today. No more whining at me to move him or reach a toy for him. He is so happy to be independent today. It's seems like its a whole new world to him. He's having more fun playing with everything. A bit of a new world for me. He hasn't gotten into anything yet...but I've been thinking about how I can't set him down in the middle of the floor and run the compost out or have a shower. He's tried to eat my plants a couple of times today already. He crawled over to the computer and tried to turn it off just now. Oh, well, it's a fun step in Kellen's life...

Good job Kellen- you go fast Kellen! My only advice is- don't crawl outside and stick your tongue on the railing. I tried that this week, not so fun.
Have fun getting your mom chasing you and cleaning up after you now. It a blast from now on!
Later buddy-

Yay! That's exciting. Every new thing is exciting, even though it can be a hassle for us sometimes :)

Emily kind of crawled like that too, sort of scootched on her bum. She started that late, and started walking at 14 months. Kind of funny how certain kids choose their own way to do things!

Pretty neat!! Laurie

It looks like Kellen wants to skip the crawling stage and go right into walking, but knows that he's not quite stable enough to walk. Amazing little chap!

way to go Kellen! you'll be all over that house in no time - and mom will be soooooo excited about that! give her a break once in awhile and let her take out the compost or take a shower. you can just chill till she's done. that's all she's asking for!
looking forward to seeing you guys when we're home!

You go Kellen!! How fun to see how much he is changing and being his own little person. We are happy to see Mom and Dad enjoying him SO much. You're doing a great job.

Your comment about the computer reminded me of Sarah when she was young. We finally had to put tape over the computer's on/off switch so she wouldn't turn it off on us...
Love the video! He looks very happy, content and loved.
