Share your good reads, please!

I'm dreaming about my soon to begin vacation. I'd like to do some reading, while the kids play in their new fun backyard. I'm going to go to the library this week and would like to order some good books. So please help - send me some of your favorite titles!

I've been told some people can't comment. If that's the case, email me - janetmuirhead@hotmail.com.

Please, please, pretty please...

Hi Janet,
One book I've enjoyed but have yet to finish is Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks. It's quite interesting, although a little long. As far as fiction goes, I enjoy anything by Karen Kingsbury, and Jan Karon is a good author too. I hope this helps!

I really liked the Book of Negros by Lawrence Hill. It is sad but inspiring. Also I am reading Three Cups of Tea and so far it is good.
Hope all is well with you and the family. Have a great vacation!

Here are some books that I've enjoyed lately:
The Secret Life of Bees, I think the author is Susan Monk-Kidd or something like that!
Eve's Daughters by Lynn Austin
Debbie MacOmber/MacComber? is a really good author as well.
If you like suspense stuff, Lisa Scottoline has some good books although they all continue from the previous book and of course, there is James Patterson.
I love to read, so I'm interested in what others suggest to you as well! I started Three cups of tea but didn't get through it and had to take it back to the library as someone else had requested it!!

if you want some deep reads. Jodi Piccoult is good. They tend to be heavy though..I really enjoy her stuff!
